PALM SUNDAY
(March 16th)

worship with special music in worship and a performance by the IPC Youth Choir.

Maundy Thursday (March 20th)
Church-wide
potluck
supper at 6:30 p.m. in Calvin Auditorium.
Sign up is in the Parlor (please RSVP; tell us what will you bring and if
you will be part of the clean-up crew.)
Following
the dinner there will be a short program
sponsored by the Christian Education
Committee.
If you would like to participate in the presentation, please speak to
Lisa Niven.
Let
us know if you will need Childcare (for children under 6) in the
nursery.
Tenebrae
Service and communion at 8:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. (Tenebrae
means “darkness.” During this
service the candles are gradually extinguished until the church is in darkness,
reminding us of the darkness that covered the earth at the crucifixion.)
Maundy
Thursday-Good Friday
(March 20-21st)
All
are invited to participate in the Maundy
Thursday-Good Friday Prayer Vigil
in
the Chapel, starting at 9:00 p.m. and lasting until the Good Friday service at
10:00
a.m. on Friday.
Come
for one hour (or more). We hope to
have at least one person awake and at prayer throughout the 25-hour vigil.
Sign-up is in the Parlor.

Friday (March 21st)
Worship and communion, in the Chapel at 10:00 a.m.
EASTER
(March 23rd)
6:30
a.m. Ecumenical Sunrise service at
Jenkins Point at the Irvington Reservoir
(Donuts
and coffee following in Calvin Auditorium)

MULTI-GENERATIONAL DINNER
for the women of the church
Friday, March 28
6 pm Calvin Auditorium
Please come to enjoy a catered supper of kid and adult friendly food.
All are welcome—all mothers, daughters and sons, all grandmas and aunts!
We will also work on a project we can do together, such as the children’s’
kits we assembled for Church World Service last year.
