On Sunday, September 23d, the class planted an azalea bush on the church grounds as a memorial.

"Dear Lord, thank You for guiding us and watching over us as we progress through our lives. Lord, You have been with us every moment of our lives, even in times of tragedy and despair, such as these past couple of days. Please be with those who lost loved ones or were in any way touched by this horrible event. Let them know that You have tremendous love and faith for them, and help them to be able to reach out to You. Also be with those who were injured in this tragedy and let them heal with Your strong praise and hope. Thank You for loving us continually and for always being forgiving. Amen."
