CALL TO WORSHIP |

Hallelujah!
Praise God in his holy house of worship, praise him under the
open skies;
Praise him for his acts of power, praise him for his magnificent
greatness;
Praise with a blast on the trumpet, praise him by strumming soft
strings;
Praise him with castanets and dance, praise him with banjo and
flute;
Praise him with cymbals and a big bass drum,
Praise him with fiddles and mandolin.
Let every living, breathing creature praise God! Hallelujah!

PRAYER OF CONFESSION |
Written by the 4th Grade Class |
We thank You O Lord, for our mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers
and all our family who support our needs, health and the world
around us.
We are sorry when we hurt other people's feelings.
We know we don't help when we should.
We know when we break Your Commandments.
We ask Your forgiveness for all the things we do wrong.
We ask for Your help in making us better people.
We ask for Your help so we can do Your work. Amen.

RESPONSIVE READING |
Psalm 1 |
Led by Grades 7 and 8 |
Leader: Happy are those who have not walked in the counsel of the wicked, nor
lingered in the ways of sinners, nor sat in the seats of the scornful!
People: Their delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law
they meditate day and night.
Leader: They are like trees planted by streams of water,
bearing fruit in due season, with leaves that do not wither; everything they do shall
prosper.
People: It is not so with the wicked; they are like chaff which
the wind blows away.
Leader: Therefore the wicked shall not stand upright when
judgement comes, nor the sinner in the council of the righteous.
People: For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way
of the wicked is doomed.

I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing |
The Children's Choir |
I'd like to build the world a home,
And furnish it with love.
Grow apple trees, and honey bees,
And snow white turtle doves.
I'd like to teach the world to sing In perfect harmony.
I'd like to hold it in my arms and keep it company.
That's the song I hear.
Let the world sing today,
A song of peace that echoes on
And never goes away.
I'd like to see the world for once,
All standing hand in hand,
And hear them echo through the hills
For peace throughout the land.
