PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Gracious God, we who love You are aware of our sins against You and others. Cancel now the power and consequences of these sins. Deal creatively with our inability to love as Christ loves. Redirect the energy we waste on diversion and amusement. Heal the division between what we want to do and what we actually do. Bring Your Spirit to bear on our inner lives, there to speak the word of life, and to live and rule in our hearts. Already we look forward to the ways You will answer our prayer. Amen.

Leader: O Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom you have made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.
People: Yonder is the sea, great and wide, creeping things innumerable are there, living things both small and great.
Leader: There go the ships, and Leviathan that you formed to sport in it.
