Rivertowns Crop Hunger Walk

Rivertowns Crop Hunger Walk

On Saturday, April 28th, we will join with others in our community in walking to fight hunger both here, through Feeding Westchester, and around the world, through programs of Church World Service.

We will be meeting at 2:00 pm on the front lawn. There will be a sign-in, refreshments, and raffles before Blaine starts us off with a prayer. The full route is about 3.5 miles: down Broadway to Cedar Street in Dobbs Ferry, then back to the church via the Aqueduct. But you are welcome to cut over to the Aqueduct for a shorter walk and do as much or as little of the route as you choose.

At the check-in there will be food: pizza, fruit, and snacks to take with you, and water to fill your bottles. You will also have a chance to buy new CROP Walk tee shirts, and participate in exciting raffles (including gift certificates from Geordanes, Historic Hudson Valley, Mima Vinoteca, MP Taverna, Tarrytown Music Hall, Dobbs Diner, Irvington Delight, and the Red Hat).

We hope to see you there!
