In recognition of Black History and in commitment to being the new humanity through Jesus Christ, join us on Saturday, February 3rd, from 10:00am-3:30pm for a Racial Justice Training workshop here at IPC, sponsored by the Hudson River Presbytery’s Racial Justice Partnership and Irvington Presbyterian Church. The trainers will include Racial Justice Team members Kathy Dean, Susan DeGeorge, Jeff Geary, and Margery Rossi. We will be using the Brownicity Curriculum, What Lies Between Us: Fostering First Steps Toward Racial Healing by Lucretia Carter Berry. Our time together will include two videos with group discussion, lunch, and in the afternoon an introduction to the history of racism in the Hudson River Presbytery and discussion on next steps.
