IRVINGTON PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (IPC) invites all Rivertowns organizations, faith groups and individuals to join The Rivertowns CROP Hunger Walk to end hunger one step at a time. On Sunday April 23rd starting at 2pm, parking will be available at IPC, walkers will check in, grab refreshments, join in prayer, and walk to raise money for local and global hunger programs.

We’ll walk south on Broadway past Aldersgate United Methodist, Greenburgh Hebrew Center, Sacred Heart Catholic, South Presbyterian, to Zion Episcopal Church and return on the Aqueduct—just over a 3.5 mile loop. Walkers however can take a shorter route as there is no formal walk length or end time.

This year, The Rivertowns Crop Hunger Walk will once again stock local food banks through Feeding Westchester plus support global climate resiliency efforts of Church World Service. In 2022, we raised 7 thousand dollars for Ukraine and local food security. We continue to open an invitation more widely every year to all Rivertowns so that together we can help more struggling with hunger.
