AN IPC/CE SPECIAL EVENT!

Saturday, February 13 at 3:00 pm

The Slow Down (Virtual) Tour of Grand Central Terminal, guided by Ginny Poleman. An IPC FUN-raiser sponsored by The Christian Education Committee.

IN 1913 GRAND CENTRAL TERMINAL was more than a transportation hub, it was also a state-of-art train
terminal with innovative engineering financed by developing real estate that contributed to the northward
growth of the new city of Manhattan.
In this virtual tour, Ginny Poleman will give you a new appreciation of one of the city’s crowned jewels of
Gilded Age Beaux Art style using historical photos as well as the latest photos featuring the impact of the
Covid-19 Pandemic on this building.
The cost is $20. If you are interested, contact Susan Breen or Lisa Niven. Payment by check or Venmo is
requested by February 10 to receive your Zoom invitation.
Ginny Poleman is a trained guide for the Municipal Art Society’s official Grand Central Terminal tour, and gives
private tours for NYC Encounters—her tour company that covers NYC Art, Architecture, History, and Trivia.
You can keep up with her on Instagram: @GinnyInProgress and @Art_Encounters.
